I got the rib eye cooked at medium and it was perfect. I paired it with Asparagus and extra butter. Well seasoned. The bread was fluffy and you can also as for more refills of that as well! Nice little steakhouse to go with family and friends. Super casual. Friendly staff. ”

“ On a Sunday afternoon with NFL football on...our party of 7 was seated in 20 minutes. The restaurant was full, alive and buzzing and we got thrown in to the fun at the right time. We ordered a good amount of food and enjoyed all of it. No one was unhappy or hungry after it was all said and done! The service was great! “ FIRST REVIEW OF THE YEAR! Came in to celebrate my mom and my son's birthday, and everything was perfect. Upon arriving the restaurant was super busy, and assumed we were going to have to wait for a table but to my surprise we got a table upon arriving. Our server Michael was amazing. He constantly made sure we were doing okay and made sure to keep our drinks filled. Everything we ordered was coursed out which we appreciated. After dinner he was nice enough to surprise my family with a birthday dessert. Thank you Michael for your hospitality. ”

“ Wednesday 1/1/25 New Year's Day about 4:45pm. Me and my wife decided we wanted barbecue so we hit up our old reliable spot, Wood Ranch. We feel we always get reliably good food and good service and today we were not disappointed. All the food was awesome except we did have an issue with the tri-tip. It should've been medium but came out medium well. I don't care about mistakes, it's about how a restaurant handles mistakes that's important. And of course Wood Ranch handled it perfectly and brought out another tri-tip that was cooked correctly the way we wanted it in no time at all. Service was exceptional as always. We look forward to the next trip to Wood Ranch as it is always good. ”

“ Ok, I am not generally big on chain restaurants being "out of this world" simply because of the ambiance. But, Wood Ranch Chino Hills has nailed it! I haven't been to a WR in a long time because there are so many better Mom n Pop places that do it right. But I was craving bbq and this place was right off the freeway so we gave it a try. 5 STARS!!!! Service, Food, Ambiance, location, etc. We walked right in at dinner time and just beat the rush. But even during the rush, this service was very attentive and quality. The food was amazing also! I had the rib and tri-tip combo and it was not at all like I remembered!! It was incredibly juicy and tender and practically melted in my mouth. The only thing I would say is make the portions BIGGER!! I could not get enough of it!! Well done WR - Chino Hills for impressing this bbq connoisseur! So good!! ”
